Blessed to travel, on July 26,2024 Ellen my wonderful wife and I left to take a ride to Coney Island Brooklyn NY, We seem to differ on how to get there with more than one choice to go to Coney, I really like the parkway to Irvington, Hillside, and into Elizabeth over the Goethals Bridge crossing Staten Island and on to Brooklyn and only a few exits after the Belt Parkway. Which to my observations seem to be the more direct way. However Ellen would rather take route 78 which is the way to Newark airport and leads to Elizabeth with a long slingshot towards the Goethals. I had experimented for many years how to get to Elizabeth from Montclair in the most efficient and quickest way possible and although there is alway street lights to contend with the journey it is what it is still all in all I have been able to go from house to beach front in 40 or so minutes.
