The Smell of Ecuador
Josef Sudek along with Francisco Manuel Oller two highly underrated artist. Artist that can take a common theme an average person takes for granted, elevates the image to a great human level for everyone to understand. Inspired by the joy of examining their works, can't help but notice how well immersed I become hooked, I'm enchanted by not just the surface most people see, which is stunning but it's as though you're in the room swatting the fly off the table and smelling the freshness of fruits or bread bursting with expression exciting the eyes. immediately there is a presents fragility, a sense of vulnerability so alive yet perishing. Sounds familiar take time to look you just might see/feel beyond a cluster of bananas on a hook?
